Who can carry out inspections?
According to Health and Safety Regulations, inspections must be carried out by a competent person. A competent person is someone who ‘has sufficient training and experience or knowledge.’
How often does my equipment need to be inspected?
LOLER inspection frequency depends on the type of equipment. Lifting accessories and equipment used to lift people must be inspected every 6 months, and all other lifting equipment must be inspected every 12 months. PUWER inspection frequency depends on the piece of equipment and its exposure to deterioration. Please contact us to discuss your PUWER inspection needs. How much does an inspection cost?

When will I get my inspection reports and certificates?
Inspection reports and certificates will be made available on our secure portal within 24 hours of inspection.
What if my equipment fails inspection?
If your equipment fails inspection, we will report this to you via your preferred contact method. The equipment must be taken out of use immediately and fixed or destroyed as soon as possible.
Can I get my equipment reinspected?
You can get your equipment reinspected after defects have been fixed. This would incur a reinspection cost and is tailored to the customer, depending on equipment.
