The yard insurance policy that we are able to offer is flexible, and means that we are often able to facilitate additional activities to suit individual requirements.

Our policies extend to include temporary worldwide trips abroad. This provides suitable cover for professionals who travel abroad to compete, perhaps on the Sunshine Tour as well as for those attending major global championship events, such as the Olympic Games.

However, a great many of our clients are running livery yards, or hunting yards with hirelings, or perhaps might have a cross country course to let out. Occasionally a horse which is in your care and owned by a third party may die, or suffer from illness, injury or disease, and the owner of the horse may accuse you, or one of your staff members, of negligence. Should this situation arise, it is care, custody and control insurance which will act to protect you. We are able to arrange limits which are suitable for your business and most competition and livery yards choose between £5,000 and £25,000 for any one horse.

For competition yards with expensive horses, we are able to arrange a policy which will protect you up to £500,000 for any one horse.
