Hotel Insurance

Beautiful hotels deserve to be protected – from all eventualities.

When it comes to independent, boutique hotel insurance, Lycetts quite literally has the market covered.

In an increasingly litigious world, Lycetts is an established broker for hotels of quality and character. We provide advice to some of the countrys most sought-after hotel venues to ensure they have protection against a variety of possible third party claims and events.

Our experience in the rural and property markets adds considerable value to our knowledge of hotel cover, in respect of hotels that qualify as listed buildings and which have changed in use from private home to commercial concern.

These days, hotel managers and owners need to be extra sensitive to the potential consequences of a consumer complaint or experience, however one-off or irregular.

How to claim hotel insurance.

It is a condition of all insurance policies that incidents that may result in claims are reported to insurers without delay. If such incidents are not reported within an acceptable timescale (usually 30 days from the time of the incident) your insurers may refuse to indemnify you.

In the event of a claim in relation to a commercial business policy, you should contact your Lycetts account executive/handler as soon as possible. When completing claim forms, ensure the whole form is completed as far as possible and it is signed on your behalf or your company’s behalf by an authorised person.
