The company has become the latest corporate supporter of the charity for the 2020 season.

Opera Holland Park has welcomed its newest sponsor for the upcoming 2020 Season – Lycetts.

The leading insurance broker and financial services provider has become the latest corporate supporter of the charity and is helping to fund their programme of performances next year.

The highly anticipated 2020 Season, which takes place at the iconic Holland Park theatre from June 2 to August 8, will include 40 performances from one of London’s most innovative opera companies.

Balancing of popular repertoire and rarely heard works, five new productions have been announced – Eugene Onegin, Rigoletto, The Merry Widow and a Margot la Rouge/Le Villi double bill.  The season will also include a collaboration with Charles Court Opera for a staging of Gilbert and Sullivan’s comedy The Pirates of Penzance, as well as The Royal Ballet School’s Summer Performances.

Charles Foster, CEO of Lycetts, said: “Giving back to our communities is at the heart of Lycetts’ culture and ethos and we are committed to supporting the charitable causes that are important to both our staff and our clients.

“All of our available profits going to the Allchurches Trust, which in turn invests them back into the community, and we are always looking for opportunities to extend our philanthropic reach, including to the arts.

“Opera Holland Park is an exciting and unique charity and we are delighted to be able to show our support for this wonderfully creative and truly worthy initiative in 2020.”

Michael Volpe, General Director of Opera Holland Park, said:  “Our aim is to ensure opera and the arts thrives in the 21st century and is accessible to all.

Critical to our success is support from our corporate sponsors and we are thrilled that Lycetts has committed to helping us to continue our work and bring some truly innovative performances to our stage next summer.

“The generosity of our sponsors and supporters enables us to showcase the very best of London’s opera community and shine a light on emerging talent, as well as bring this extraordinary artform to new audiences.   We look forward to welcoming guests to our 2020 Season.”
