Elite riders prepare for Grantham Cup as Lycetts extends sponsorship and cash prize

The stakes are high at this year’s Grantham Cup, with Lycetts renewing its sponsorship of the prestigious event at the Eventing Spring Carnival, continuing its support for elite equestrian competition.

A £1,000 prize will once again be presented to the highest-ranked Lycetts-insured rider, further intensifying the competition at the highly anticipated event.

Austin O’Connor, an Irish equestrian and 5* professional event rider, won last year’s prize.

Lycetts has been a proud sponsor of the Grantham Cup since 2013, and this year’s event, taking place at Thoresby Park, is set to be one of the highlights of the four-day festival, commencing March 27th.

Our ongoing commitment to the equestrian community extends beyond competition sponsorship. Last year, we donated £15,630 to the British Eventing Support Trust as part of the Benefact Group’s Movement for Good Awards – funding to help provide vital support for injured British Eventing competing members and those struggling with mental health challenges.

The Grantham Cup, established in 2006, serves as the perfect prelude to the world’s top eventing competitions. The Eventing Spring Carnival draws elite competitors from across the globe as they prepare for their Grand Slam campaigns.
