A number of our clients here at Lycetts live and work from houses and yards which they rent. As they don’t own the buildings, often this means that their business contents are not insured.

Imagine that a fire burns your yard down, although the rebuild of the stables is not your responsibility, your tack and yard contents may be damaged beyond repair and are very expensive to replace.

We are able to provide a business contents insurance policy which covers business and personal contents only. This is of particular interest to a number of our dressage, eventing and showjumping clients who have very valuable tack which they wish to cover against theft.

How to claim rented property insurance.

In the event of a claim, please notify your Lycetts account executive or claims handler as soon as possible, and certainly of the incident.

Some policies have strict time limits for notification of claims, so if there is a delay you may prejudice your claim.
