A feature at Lycetts which has been specifically designed for the needs of our equestrian clients is the ability to include business interruption insurance and additional costs of working cover.

Imagine the scenario where your whole yard is flooded and it is not possible to keep horses in the stables for the foreseeable future. Appropriate cover means you could afford to rent another yard whilst you get rid of the water and sewage contamination, a process that can take longer then you might think!

Lycetts can provide appropriate cover to enable you to rent another yard close to you while you repair the damage and make fit your yard for your horses to return to their normal routine.

We believe this to be essential cover and can arrange a policy to meet your requirements.

How to claim business interruption insurance

In the event of a claim, please notify your Lycetts account executive or claims handler as soon as possible, and certainly of the incident.

Some policies have strict time limits for notification of claims, so if there is a delay you may prejudice your claim.
